THE VILLE is a historic African-American community in St. Louis, Missouri, with a rich history of African-American education, business, entertainment, and culture. Between 1870 and 1970, THE VILLE rose as a cultural mecca of Black St. Louis alongside its kindred neighborhood, Mill Creek Valley.

To achieve this vision, 4theVille is committed to transforming the public domain of the community and developing a network of public amenities imbued with the extraordinary culture of the community that connect its neighborhoods across Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and support prosperity of The Ville.
