This bus tour offers an introduction to the resilient Black history of the City of St. Louis from its founding to contemporary times. The tour is an exploration of how black resistance is woven into the history of our dear city. The tour invokes deep reflection about how the St. Louis region has preserved its Black history to-date.

The tour reviews a range of landmarks of Black resistance and activism throughout downtown, midtown and North St. Louis City from those commonly recognized across cultures and communities to those that have been erased and whose stories only remain through archives and oral histories passed down through generations.
